How do I customize my final Rx?
Refraction, CL Rx Today, recall, and diagnosis are recorded automatically unless you click "Customize Final Rx"
When the doctor is finished with EXAM: 1. Click a billing code (most of the time) OR 2. "Customize Final Rx"
If you click a billing code (Coding) (1), OD Link will automatically set the refraction as the final Rx, as well as setting a final contact lens Rx. The diagnosis, expiration date, and recall dates are also automatically set before the Finalize summary window is shown. To make changes before billing, click "Customize Final Rx" (2).
The "Customize Final Rx" window allows you to pick and choose modifications
The left side shows your Exam findings and the right side shows the Final Rx (the PATIENT file). You can use buttons or drag and drop.
Notice that the grey fields on the right side show the diffrent values (red arrow).
Other tools like "Readers" creates a second Rx with one click (blue circle)
The “Exam Date” and “Rx Expiration Date” are updated only if there was a refraction (green circle).
Modified Final Spec Rx is automatically added here
The final spec. Rx is assumed to be the same as the refraction. \ If it has been modified it shows up in Rx / Reports.
