The calendar has a helpful tool to help you know where the patient is in your office.  In the calendar in the "Res" column, you would normally see the broad reason for that time slot.  When a patient checks in the your mark "Here" in the calendar, this "Res" column turns red temporarily.  It will stay red until the doctor starts an exam for that patient. This will help you keep track of patients in your waiting room who have not had an exam started yet.  Once the exam is started, that column will return to normal.
