How do I make an appointment?

Create an appointment.  Examples include two options from the Patient Window.

In the Patient Window, bring up the patient record for the person who needs to make an appointment (Use the "find" button).

The patient's information displays on the screen.  

Click the Calendar tab to make an appointment for that PATIENT.

The Calendar Window will open and show you the next available appointment.  You can use that one or go to any other day or time.

You can also pull up your patient right in the calendar window by using the "Find Patient" button.

Add the appointment for this patient to the Calendar.

Click the green "add" button next to the slot you want.  To go to a different day, click the day you want on the calendar (blue circle).  To clear an appointment, click the "clear icon" on the far left of any appointment slot (red arrow).  

If the patient record has an email address or cell phone, the option is available to send a confirmation right away.

Choose which method you would like to use to send a confirmation.  Note that after you send it, you will see "email" or "text" in the Conf column.  You can send emails or texts at any time later by clicking on the envelope (red arrow) symbol next to the patient.

Each visit is associated with an entrance form.  You can customize your visit reason list by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on "edit".  Remember that in order for the "print forms" to work at the top of the calendar, each visit reason must have a numeral in front of it to indicate which form you would like to print.

 

You can use the Notes column to make any additional notes for the appointment.
