How do I create an EXAM Report?

Exam reports include patient explanations of their diagnosis, pre-written reports that merge EXAM values, summaries of all tests from this or previous exam, or enter selected test results in the report. You can edit the report in a single field, include images, print , save, email the report in a HIPAA compliant password protected pdf file with just a few clicks.

At the bottom of the EXAM window click the diagnosis to create a report for the patient (laymens terms).

You can create and print with 2 clicks

You could edit, then (1) Print or (2) Password protect so you could (3) save and or email the report

In this case the password could be pulled from either the ASSOCIATE password (blue arrow- "odlink") or the PATIENT email (red arrow-"12") depending on who you were sending it to.

If you use "SuperContainer the thumbnail image will not show up until you click the "include" button. In this example the 3rd image has been clicked and the first one has not

FileMaker 8.5 or 9 requires you paste the email address that ODLink has grabbed (ctrl-P) into the default email program. FileMaker 10 does not (although you have to include email settings in ODLink PREFRENCES) since it can send email without the default email program.

In EXAM, you can also activate a recall letter for the diagnosis as well as the Report (1), then click the add button (2) to create the report as above

If you click 1 to enter MYOPIA then click the "+" to create the report (arrow)

OD Link grabs the first word of the diagnosis to map to the list of reports. In this case you would get the glaucoma report
