To add a new insurance, click on the green add button in the toolbar.

Fill in as many fields as you can.  Name and address must be filled in so that when you print a claim or send it electronic, the address will be on the claim.

Accept Assign:  This indicates whether or not you are credentialed with this insurance and must accept their payment terms.

Group NPI: This is used when you are credentialed with an insurance using a group NPI number rather than an individual NPI number.  Mark yes if this insurance wants to see your group NPI on the claim.

You can use OD Link to store phone numbers and contact information for insurances.  If you store an email address here, you can email your insurance directly from this window.

If you enter a web address (1), you can click on the "web" tab (2) to go directly to this provider's website.  Or you can use "google" tab (3) to google the name of this insurance.

You can use the insurances website right here in OD Link.  Or push the internet symbol to be taken out of OD Link and open the insurances website in a web browser.

The "Google" tab will perform a search for the insurance name.
