How do I confirm, delete, move, no show or arrive appointments?

When you first insert a patient into a time slot, you will have the option to confirm by email or text if the patient has email and cell phone in their record.

In CALENDAR, click the location and the Doctor's name for appointments you want to see (non checked items will not show)

When calling to confirm appointments, click the box in the "Conf" column.  A drop down list appears, choose the appropriate symbol for which method you confirmed the appointment by:  if you talked to the patient (X), left a message (LM), there was no answer (NA), or you emailed the patient (EM).

Patients with email address or cell phones can be confirmed with email or text.

If the patient has an available email or cell phone, the envelope will have a green background.  Click the envelope icon to send an emal or text reminder. Here is more about that

Choose new appointment or reminder.

You will be taken to the communication window.  Make any changes and click send.

To delete an appointment (remove it completely from the schedule) you can click the green garbage can on the right side of the calendar.

Record arrival of the patient. Click "HERE"

When a patient arrives, click in the arrival column next to their name.  The time will be stamped and the box will have a red background indicating that patient has arrived and doctor has not started an exam yet.  Once the doctor starts an exam for that patient, the time box will no longer be red.  This feature will help you track patients who have arrived but not seen the doctor yet.

You can make other edits to the no show list  here as well.  As you add dates to the no show list, the count will increase for that patient.
