How do I use exam templates in OD Link?

Exam templates are in the top right corner of the EXAM window.  Over thirty additional templates are listed "30 more"

Click a category tab to select sub categories

Click a template

Click a template

Templates will either create a new exam or modify an existing one (if the exam has not been signed it will be modified)

If this is a NEW EXAM, all the default values are populated

For "Blepharitis" the temple inserts (top of EXAM)

If your initial guess of blepharitis was wrong and you want to change the template part way through the exam, you can just choose a new template

Click the green add button again and choose a new template

You will be prompted to change the fields that already contain data (blank fields will just be filled with the new template values)

HPI changes (for example).  Click EITHER change button, or just type.

Change the values to the template values, or leave them, or type your own.

Notice that most of these templates include a guess at billing codes

These code(s) will be added to the code created above them or click "+" to enter just the listed codes.  You can also edit them in transaction.
