How do I send and edit my email and text messages?

Send and track COMMUNICATION you have with the patient by text, email, phone, verbal, letter, fax, or other

COMMUNICATION tab at the bottom of the PATIENT window

1. Choose the method to send the message

2. "+" New correspondence

1. Choose pre-written message(s)

2. Edit or add to the message

3. Click Send/Close

1. Click Edit to edit messages

2. Find or add messages

3. Click "COMMUNICATION WINDOW" to include this message in the PATIENT correspondence list (this list is also used in the  EXAM EXPLANATION)

Send a text message

Make sure the patient wants you to text them (contact me by "TEXT checked on entrance form) or ask "can we confirm and remind you about your appointment by email or text?"

1. Make sure you have a cell phone entered

2. Check via TEXT

3. Click Send/Close to send the text

Sending text messages out of OD Link software may require some additional set up.
